Description
Hand-knitted in an open gauge, so the thick chenille ropes sit as a loose net with gaps worked evenly through the body. The holes are the point: air moves through the knit, it warms without trapping heat, and it stays usable into spring when a dense blanket would be too much.
Six sizes — 40 × 40 as a lap square, 40 × 60 and 40 × 80 as long runners, 51 × 63 as a sofa throw, 60 × 80 for a double and 80 × 90 for a queen or king bed. The loose gauge gives it stretch and a heavy drape: it settles over a sofa back instead of sliding off.
Antique red, vintage white, ivory, berry haze, blush pink and beige. A mesh bag on a gentle cycle, air dried, and hand washing or spot cleaning in between.
