Description
Two layers: a jacquard face woven from yarns of different weights, and a velvet reverse. The damask pattern is large-scale — one motif spans most of the width — and in burgundy and gold the weave catches light at different angles, which is where the lustre comes from rather than from anything applied to the surface.
Rope piping runs the full perimeter and two rows of tassel fringe hang from the ends. At 52 × 72 inches it’s a formal throw: at home in a living room or a study, or across the foot of a bed in a room with dark wood. Also in black, rust red, beige gold, beige yellow and a multi-color version.
The piping and the fringe last longer hand washed, but the throw will take a machine cycle.
